Andrew was educated at Rondebosch Boy’s High School and then completed a National Diploma in Marketing and Sales at the Cape Technikon, where his practical studies led him into the exciting and fast-paced world of advertising. He spent several years learning his trade in multiple agencies including The White House and Ogivly Cape Town before heading off to London where he worked at TBWA. These formative years were crucial in his learning the trade and mastering the skills of account management, selling, brand strategy and project management.

Andrew returned to South Africa to continue in the Agency game, but was offered a unique opportunity to be Sales Director of one of SA’s most popular men’s magazines – Men’s Health. This led him to be appointed as Publisher of Sports Illustrated magazine and later as Group Publisher of one third of the entire Touchline Media (division of Media24) business.

He was then was appointed MD of Lowe Cape Town, one of the leading local creative agencies, before setting up his own media business with UCT – in the transit media space i.e Go Metro.
